A leading European building materials manufacturer for combustion-related heating technology faced an existential challenge as their core market collapsed due to shifting energy trends towards a greener world and reduced construction budgets. We helped them systematically explore new applications for their existing technologies and production capabilities across multiple material streams using our AI-powered innovation tool. The process generated approximately 30 ideas per material category, with several concepts showing market potential exceeding €20 million over five years – a significant figure for a relatively small company.
